Mr. Gold has over twenty-seven years of experience in the environmental health and safety (“EHS”) field. Mr. Gold holds both a Bachelor’s degree from CSUN and a Master’s degree from USC in the EHS field. Mr. Gold is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, a Certified Safety Professional, a State of California Certified Lead Consultant, and a Registered Environmental Assessor.

Mr. Gold has extensive experience in developing and implementing safety programs at all sizes of companies, from Fortune 100 employers to small businesses. He is a well experienced industrial hygienist and has conducted surveys for numerous air contaminants and noise. He has also provided Cal-OSHA compliance audits for several employers to improve their safety programs.

Mr. Gold also has extensive experience conducting mold investigations within buildings of most every type. His hundreds of clients have included homeowners, commercial property owners and managers, insurers, school districts, government agencies, health care facilities, attorneys, and Fortune 500 firms.

Mr. Gold has provided expert witness testimony in mold issues within Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, and Santa Barbara counties, and at the Worker’s Compensation Board of Appeals in employee toxic exposure claims cases.

Mr. Gold has been a guest speaker for numerous civic groups, professional groups, and Universities, and has been an assistant professor at CSUN. Mr. Gold is active in several professional associations, and has served on the Board of Directors of local chapters of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Society of Safety Engineers, and the American Indoor Air Quality Council.

Gold Health and Safety Consulting, Inc. is fully insured, with over $1 million in General and Professional Liability insurance coverage. We also maintain the necessary Worker’s Compensation coverage for our personnel.

Mr. Gold has also appeared on Television several times as an expert witness, including his most recent appearance on the Judge Joe Brown Show as an expert mold witness.
